Suffering an injury is not only painful but also disruptive. There are medical appointments to attend, lost income from time out of work, insurance forms and bills, loss of personal pursuits, and the like. When the injury results from an accident at work or due to the type of worked performed over time, these problems are compounded because of a state law known as the Workers’ Compensation Act . Although this statute holds an employer and/or its insurance company responsible to the injured worker for free medical care and compensation, it gives them unwanted control over the process which is sometimes abused or simply causes unnecessary delays.
Joseph B. White has devoted his entire 27 year career to assisting clients with their workers’ compensation claims. In that time he has handled nearly every conceivable type of case to ultimate settlement or litigated trial judgment, as well as several matters decided by the appellate courts. The knowledge gained from this experience has enabled him to analyze individual situations quickly and take the proper steps to ensure that each client receives the benefits to which they are entitled under the law and in a timely fashion.
Mr. White personally conducts all initial interviews, prepares and reviews all legal documents, reviews the medical records and reports, communicates with insurance representatives and their attorneys, attends court conferences, handles all hearings and trials, and undertakes all other necessary claim related action himself. If he commits to representing you in your claim for WC benefits, he will be the only attorney you will work with regarding all matters related to your WC claim. All questions regarding your rights, the progress of your case, settlement or trial strategy, and any concerns will be addressed by Mr. White. You will not be passed to different attorneys in the firm at different times for different issues related to your Workers Compensation claim.

To make it all happen and because he is in Court almost every day, Mr. White relies upon an experienced staff of three legal assistants each of whom have served with him for at least 16 years. Cases are assigned by Mr. White for administrative purposes to only one of these three legal assistants because we believe each client deserves individual focused attention.
Experience, commitment, personal service. This has proven to be our model for success. Let us put it to work for you.
